For every organizer and employee in the event industry, there was an awful lot to see at the fair. An incubator where knowledge was shared, where the finest products were shown and where the coolest ideas came to life. "At other trade shows you have booth by booth, stall by stall, but this really isn't that. This is already an event in itself," says Manou de Rooij of Evenementenlocatie de Kaap. She and her colleagues here are looking for fun extras they can offer their customers. And those extras were plentiful. The wide variety of stands, a fully functioning Ferris wheel and numerous artists made this edition of Festivak a real spectacle....
"During Festivak, in addition to our regular customers, we also see customers we don't normally approach. Such as small festivals and events that now want to take a step and need professionalization."

More than 40 inspiring lectures were scheduled during Festivak, the trade show for the event industry. Visitors listened with headphones on topics that will have a major impact on the event industry in the future. Three major themes stood out: inclusion, artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability. Each of these topics not only provides opportunities for innovation, but also addresses challenges that organizers face during their events.

As a visitor, you didn't have to look long to find the entrance, because above the Brabanthallen there was an immense black letter F. Designed by Roxxi and Coreworks and made possible by the partners of Festivak.
You could also win 4 tickets to Brabant Winter if you took a picture with this cool F. Below is a nice selection of all the images.
This year we will be back in Belgium on November 5 & 6 at the Nekkerhal in Mechelen.
